Clear, Fixed Fees
£199
A straightforward Will for clients who simply want to ensure their wishes are recorded and avoid relying on the rules of intestacy.
A Basic Will can appoint Executors, name Guardians for minor children, make specific gifts and set out who should inherit your estate.
This type of Will generally passes assets outright to beneficiaries and does not provide the additional protection that may be available through trust-based planning.
During your consultation, I will explain the differences between a Basic Will and other planning options so that you can decide which approach is right for you.
£375 Mirror Basic Wills
For couples with broadly aligned wishes, with each person receiving their own individual Will.
Will incorporating a Protective Trust
£449
A Will incorporating a Protective Trust allows assets to pass into trust rather than outright to beneficiaries.
This can provide greater control and flexibility and may help protect inherited assets from risks such as divorce, financial difficulty, a beneficiary’s own Inheritance Tax exposure, or other claims.
Trustees can manage or distribute assets according to a beneficiary’s circumstances at the time.
Trust planning may also be relevant where future care-fee assessments are a concern, although no trust can guarantee that assets will be disregarded by a local authority.
During your consultation, I will explain how the trust works, the protections it may offer, its limitations, and whether this type of planning is appropriate for you and your family.
£875 Mirror Wills incorporating protective trusts
For couples with broadly aligned wishes, with each person receiving their own individual Will.
Where appropriate, basic Severance of Tenancy documentation required as part of the planning is included within the fee. More complex changes to property ownership, including other conveyancing work, would be dealt with separately and may incur additional legal costs.

£1499 - Family Gift Trust
A Family Gift Trust allows you to make gifts during your lifetime while keeping the assets within a trust rather than passing them outright to beneficiaries.
It can support wider Inheritance Tax planning and may also provide additional protection for beneficiaries against risks such as divorce, creditor or bankruptcy claims, future care-fee exposure and their own Inheritance Tax position. Trustees retain control over how and when the assets are used, including the ability to make loans or manage funds for younger beneficiaries.
£3950 - Probate Preservation Plus Trust (PPPT)
A PPPT places your home into trust during your lifetime while allowing you to continue living there, and is generally best suited to mortgage-free property.
It may help reduce probate delays and provide additional protection for beneficiaries against risks such as divorce, creditor or bankruptcy claims and their own Inheritance Tax exposure.
A PPPT is an estate-planning and asset-protection tool, not a means of deliberately avoiding care fees. Age, health, foreseeable care needs and the purpose of the planning are relevant, and no trust can guarantee that a property will be disregarded in a future care-fee assessment.
It is not an Inheritance Tax planning tool for the person placing their home into trust.
